Jay has excellent teaching qualities, being very patient, encouraging and instilled in me the confidence to move
forward in my job. Some of the things he taught me include how to balance, transfer, what appropriation accounts to use, what taxes need to be paid, and where to go to get information/answers for question I may have. Plus he is still available by phone or email anytime I need him.

After I took office and was struggling I was referred to Jay for guidance. Jay was a lifesaver! He has helped me so much, and continues to be a valuable resource for me. Jay's knowledge is so vast and if he doesn't happen to know the answer to something he will get you the correct answer and teach you the correct way. Jay is truly an asset in the Clerk-Treasurer world!

I have called on Jay several times over the past three years to help me straighten out some issues with accounts, bank statements and many other issues. He not only corrects errors, but explains how to keep on track. I have been at the point of resigning, but after Jay came in to help me out, I finally got a good night’s sleep.
